We are a school dedicated exclusively to teaching Portuguese language and Brazilian culture to the foreign community.

We believe that knowing a language is not only a means of communication, but also a gateway to understanding the different cultures of the world. With our motto, "We connect cultures through Brazilian Portuguese", we seek to transcend language barriers and create an enriching and transformative learning experience.

What makes us unique is our passion for promoting a true connection between students and the culture of Brazil. In addition to teaching the language, we provide cultural immersion, bringing the charms of Brazil into a virtual classroom. Our native and experienced teachers share not only language issues, but also the traditions, cuisine, music and customs that make Brazil so special.

MEET OUR FOUNDING TEACHER

Alessandra Álvares is from Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil.

She holds a BA in Literature-Editing (CEFET-MG), a Degree in Languages-Portuguese (Claretian) and a Master in Language Studies (CEFET-MG). In 2018, she carried out a student exchange in Languages, General Studies and Human Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de La Plata, Argentina.

She has been working as a Portuguese teacher for foreigners since 2014. With vast experience, in Brazil and abroad, she has taught students of more than 20 nationalities. In 2015, she carried out a professional exchange at the Instituto Guimarães Rosa - Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, where she offered classes in Brazilian Portuguese phonetics, textual production and Brazilian culture.

She is passionate about the possibility of meeting new people that education brings and is gratified every day in this profession that she chose and that, in turn, chose her.
